FALL DRINKS

Sip, Savor and Be Merry!

Back by popular demand, The Phoenician’s seasonal collection of cocktails has returned – and just in time for the holidays! Perfect for crisp autumn weekends and cool winter nights, these libations are easy to make at home and (in our humble opinion) even better when enjoyed on the Thirsty Camel Patio! All four selections will be available at Il Terrazzo, the Thirsty Camel Lounge, Relish Burger Bistro, and the Oasis Bar and Grill from November 22 – January 2.

Basil & Pear Martini:

  • 2oz Grey Goose Le Poire Vodka
  • 5 Fresh Basil Leaves
  • ½ oz Simple Syrup
  • 1 oz Pear Puree
  • Sprite to fill

In an empty shaker, muddle fresh basil; add vodka, simple syrup, pear puree and shake with ice until chilled. Strain into a martini glass and top with a splash of Sprite. Garnish with a fresh basil sprig.

Fig & Maple Bourbon:

  • 2oz Woodford Reserve Bourbon
  • 1 oz Fig & Maple Simple Syrup
  • 2 dashes Angostura Bitters

This sweet concoction of Woodford Reserve and fig/maple syrup is bound to warm you up! Simply add all the ingredients to a shaker filled with ice and shake until well chilled. Strain into a rocks glass filled with ice and enjoy!

Blackberry Bourbon Smash:

  • 1 oz Woodford Reserve Bourbon
  • 1 oz Amaretto
  • 1 oz Blackberry Puree
  • ½ oz Lemon Juice
  • 1 oz Cranberry Juice
  • 2 dashes Angostura Bitters
  • Brandy-Soaked Cherries, to garnish

With ingredients such as blackberry, lemon and cranberry, this is one cocktail perfectly suited for Thanksgiving. In a shaker filled with ice, add all six ingredients and shake until well chilled.  Strain over a rocks glass filled with ice and garnish with brandy-soaked cherries.

Spiced Pear Sour:

  • 2 oz Captain Morgan Rum
  • 1 oz Simple Syrup
  • 1 oz Lemon Juice
  • 1 oz Pear Puree
  • 2 dashes Angostura Bitters
  • Lemon Twist, to garnish

In a shaker filled with ice, add all ingredients and shake until well chilled.  Strain over a rocks glass filled with ice. Garnish with a lemon twist.
